modern ramblings Monday, February 1, 2010 I had a short meeting with my managers today, to talk about December's pay as well as my commission and incentives etc, they said they will definitely keep me on the pay roll and after the client's pay (which is 3 months later) and they will process it, so I will still get the extra bucks I made, not a lot but it's still money. Then the meeting went into a weird angle, J suddenly said we should be open here and wants to know what my thoughts are. My last day is 19th Feb, which is after CNY, which means after CNY, I work 3 more days and I'm done. Then E started saying how during Christmas and NY, I wanted to take 2 weeks' off but couldn't coz Ric wanted to take leave too, that how about I (keyword - I) take the week of CNY off so my official last will be 12 Feb instead. Notice how they want me to voluntarily "volunteer" to leave early so they can save 3 days of pay. Frankly speaking, I want to stay till the 19th because 3 days is still money to me. I told them what I thought and they (especially E) looked quite shocked, like she didn't expect me to want to stay. I just hate how they both proposed this like they were doing me a huge favour, like I was dying to leave. They definitely won't terminate me early because they would have to pay me - or unless they make up some cock bull story and not pay me, either way it could happen. I told J what happened and she was bloody angry. Other than her, I was the 2nd most senior person there and for them to just want to quickly dump me off is shady coz the other two are still not up to par. During the meeting, I complained about one of them, saying that her attitude stinks. At first I thought she was new so she's not used to working so fond of complaining but it's been a freaking month! How much more of "i'm so tired, this is so sian, why do we have to stay late, I don't know what to look for next, I don't understand the job" nonsense is it gonna last!!?? I find it quite insulting that her attitude is such shit. Not only am I doing my own work, I'm also helping her do hers too coz she's always asking what job can this person do, what accounts/sales/research role we have, where is this company located blah blah... Another won 2 Haagen Daz vouchers, it makes me sad that it should have been Clair's, she was by far the best. Even prank calling was not fun today. I have so many things on my mind, feels like my head's gonna explode. | |
